Connect Scanee to Google Sheets or Excel
Import a list from a Google Sheets or Excel Online spreadsheet, such as your cost centers, then export your invoices straight to a workbook.
Step by step
-
Open the project's settings
Open the project menu, then its settings.
-
Create a List field
In the Fields tab, create a new field: Cost center, of type List.
-
Link the field to Google Sheets
Link it to an integration list: Google Sheets, then the workbook Scanee Demo, and the Demo tab.
-
Import the list
In Google Sheets, this tab holds the list of cost centers. Click Link: the five cost centers are imported from the sheet. The Sync button keeps them up to date at any time.
-
Let the AI pick from the list
Create the field. Go back to the project and drop an invoice. Open the details: the AI extracted the data, and picked the cost center from the Google Sheets list.
-
Add a Google Sheets export
Now let's create the export: go back to the settings, Exports tab, and add a configuration. Give it a name, and choose Google Sheets.
-
Enter the workbook and the tab
Paste the workbook link, and the name of the tab to fill. Save.
-
Export the invoice
Go back to the project, turn on selection, check the invoice, click Export, and choose the Google Sheets export: the invoice goes straight to your workbook. Back in Google Sheets, the Factures exportées tab now contains the invoice, with its cost center and the link to the document in Scanee.
